A sanctuary for
healing & reconnection

Healing begins when we listen to the heart.

My work brings together the spiritual wisdom of Islamic Counselling with a holistic approach to the body, creating a gentle space for you to return to your true essence (فطرة—fiṭra).

Here, your journey is met with compassion, tradition and a deep respect for the wholeness of your soul. Whatever season you are moving through, it would be my honour to walk alongside you on your path towards healing.

About me

My name is Naema, and my practice is rooted in a psycho-spiritual model of Islamic Counselling (Awakening the Heart). I completed my formal therapeutic training with Stephen Maynard & Associates.

I currently collaborate with The Lantern Initiative, building on my extensive background in community outreach at The Lateef Project. In addition to my therapeutic work, I integrate holistic wellness into my practice. I am experienced in cupping (حجامة—ḥijāmah) and womb wellness, with a deep interest in Unani Tibb medicine.

My approach to counselling

I believe therapy is a deeply personal and collaborative journey. My practice focuses on nurturing (تربية—tārbiyah)—the intentional cultivation of the soul, self-awareness, and self-development—to facilitate healing and wholeness. By honouring natural life cycles and the body’s internal rhythms, I provide a client-led space where your faith, culture, and unique experiences are deeply honoured.

Femininity & Womb Wellness: Exploring the sacred connection between the heart, body and feminine identity through the lens of our internal seasons.

The Four Temperaments: Utilising traditional Unani Tibb insights to understand your unique constitution and align your life with your natural, God-centred purpose.

Somatic Awareness: Incorporating gentle breathwork and body-based insights to release stored tension and facilitate deeper healing.
